Flaregames at Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki (Video)
Flaregames was out in full force at the recent Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, sharing our insights and expertise in a number of areas at the mobile game conference. Taking to the stage were Head of Product Antubel Moreda, Product Marketing Manager Frederike Rasche and Software Engineer Nicolas Frossard.
Antubel Moreda was part of a panel on social gaming trends, discussing everything from the progression of so-called ‘hyper-casual’ mobile games to blockchain and location-based gaming.
Another panel at the conference, digging into hybrid monetisation approaches for mobile games, featured Frederike Rasche. Discussing how Flaregames strikes the right balance in this department, Rasche explained that “it’s very iterative, especially for us as a publisher with very different games.”
Last but not least, Nico Frossard stepped up to deliver his talk on how mobile game publishers can go the extra mile to support their partnering developers on technical issues. Frossard works on Flaregames’ publishing platform, which handles many of the technical demands of a free-to-play mobile game including user segmentation and player behaviour tracking. “The more publishers care about tech, the more tasks they take over, the more time the developer actually has to work on the game itself,” Frossard stated.
Thanks go to Pocket Gamer Connects for hosting the event and inviting Flaregames to participate. If you want to see us speak or meet up with us at an upcoming industry event, then you can see what we’re getting up to next on our website.
